![]() The prince watched the leaves change colour with a sense of apprehension. No one was coming for him. It finally dawned on him that there would be no envoys from the Kingdom of Lumiere arriving to take him back home. He was stuck on a remote, uncivilised island where the residents spoke an unfamiliar wild tongue and lived outdoors like beasts. Etienne had been forced to sleep beneath the trees for days and every night he was too afraid to close his eyes. He felt like there was always something watching, waiting to hunt him for his premium grade flesh that he had no doubt would taste delicious. Drinking unclean water from suspicious sources, having to go to the bathroom outside which he did shed a few tears over. Etienne Belmont LaRose Anthelm rose to his paws and shook his head fiercely. He would not let his viper of a sister win. He would survive this and become the king he was born to be, even a humble island like this would appreciate such an extremely handsome and extraordinarily regal prince like himself ruling over them. Any one of them would be lucky to consider themselves his subject, he deluded himself into believing like the simple minded and privileged prince that he was. |

The small, smaller than him he noted with relief, wolf was as sleek and black as the felines that kept the Anthelm palace rat free. Etienne cleared his throat and assumed his regal pose, rosy tinted eyes acknowledging her coolly as if he saw wolves drop out of trees everyday and wasn't perturbed by her unique appearance at all |
