AURORA
Her tail swayed with each delicate step, swishing from side to side as she pranced into the gorgeous sunlight where trees no longer lingered to block the sun from reaching the gorgeous amount of flora that danced along the fields. Taking in a breath, she felt a wave of glee wash over her, having not been here for what felt like a lifetime. Nature had already started to consume the old school grounds, leaving it to look like it had been abandoned for years as moss and vines covered the stone structure from head to toe. Many memories were harbored in those walls, and she was quickly getting lost the longer two-toned eyes browsed the once noble building where books could call home and some of the collection was ruined.
It wasn’t until the sound of commotion that her pools would draw away and glance around at the assortment of wolves further along the way, closer to the borders. Her fur fluffed up a little bit, feeling anxious at the sheer number of bodies she could see from this distance that made her shrink further and further away from the edge of the building, so tempted to hide. A parade after the way, it felt unheard of to connect the two nations once more and as happy as she was, there was an unsettled cry in the back of her mind that made her expect the worst to befall this festivity. The sides had never been good at getting along ever since she could remember. Drawing in a breath, she would try to walk out from hiding a little bit more, glancing around for any of the faces she was looking for while completely forgetting she had brought along the Doctor to feel a little safer while here. Scanning the crowd, she could spy Gwydion, Elias, Odette or even Victorian among them, causing her skin to crawl a touch. What if Gwydion never made it back home safe after their run in the day so much death had happened? What if the angry Highlanders found out Elias was a noble and beheaded him? What if another drunk had gotten ahold of Odette after their little tea date? Her mind swam with far too many what ifs to the point she felt like it might explode as she staggered back and sat down, catching her breath from the anxiety that rushed blood straight to her head.
