do not press this,
I am relentless. The city was alive, crawling with wolves and alight with an excitement that wasn’t typically to be found. His travels with the army had brought him here numerous times, but it wasn’t his home, the ground beneath his paws wasn’t his. Wolves had gathered at the announcement that the Princess needed a tutor, each one hoping for a shot at the position and the glory it would bring them. But that wasn’t why he was here. He’d heard the whispers. The whispers of an outlander dame presenting herself for the job. After four years, this was the closest he had been to finding her, to laying eyes on her. It tested his patience, to not just burn the city to the ground in search of her.
He ground his teeth together as he blended into the crowd, paying no mind to those around him. His emerald gaze was fixated on one wolf. She walked the streets without a care in the world. She carried herself with a sense of freedom, as if she believed he was forever gone from her life. Four years.. They had both grown older and it looked good on her. There was a maturity to her, a softness in her curves that had his hands itching to touch her.
His resolve to keep his distance inevitably crumbled, a bit of a surprise to himself considering he’d long outgrown his impulsive ways. He’d waited long enough. Four long years to be exact. The crowd parted for him whether they realized it or not, scrambling to get out of his shadow, out of his way. A seasoned veteran, he moved with an easy confidence and a commanding presence. Her back was to him now, she stopped to look at something at one of the store fronts. His pace was unhurried, his stride sure, he was a predator staking his prey. Salvia pooled in his mouth, his jaws aching to once again feel her scruff between his teeth.
His timing was damn near perfect as he waited for her to approach an alley, her intention to bypass the shadows. Closing the distance between them, he didn’t hesitate to press into her side, to step her into the alleys shadows as he dragged his body along her side until he could press his nose into soft curve of her throat. His touch was entirely possessive, as if he wrapped a strong arm around her waist and pulled her against him. He caged her in, trapping between his body and the alley wall. Nostrils flared as he dragged in a lungful off her lilac and vanilla perfume. He didn’t bother silencing the low groan that rumbled in his throat. template by bean |

do not press this,
I am relentless. Her pretty lilac eyes grew wide and round, the horror on her face clearly visible, even in the shade of the alley. Her lips parted, but no sound would come, as though she was stunned into silence. Her shock was clear, like she'd spent all these years thinking he was gone, nothing but a haunting memory to plague her dreams. The humorless rumble of his chuckle was accompanied with the lifting of his lips in a smirk. Amusement danced in the shadows of his eyes, overwhelmed only by victory. She trembled against him, her fear turning her perfume sour, though she made no effort to run. Instead she collapsed against the wall, her legs barely keeping her standing. He took full advantage, using his own body to hold her up.
He refused to give her space to breathe, he would continue to crowd her, offering her no reprieve. Her warmth was only distantly familiar, the curves of her body different now and almost foreign beneath his touch. The only thing that hadn't changed about her was her intoxicating smell. It surrounded him, dragged memories to the surface and reminded him of their past. Now that she stood here in front of him, she was living reminder of the pain she caused, the embarrassment he had been forced to endure. The hackles down his nape and back threatened to lift. Tension tightened his shoulders as he stared into her eyes, a storm raging in his own gaze. template by bean |

do not press this,
I am relentless. N-no, no, no. A dark brown arched. His name rolled off her tongue, brushing passed his ears. He hasn’t heard it pass her lips in years and he was startled by the delicious shiver that raced up his spine in response. You can’t…

I am relentless. She wouldn’t meet his gaze until he mentioned their children, but she still said nothing. He thought surely their children would garner some sort of reaction from her. Did she truly not care for her pups? The thought didn’t sit well with him. She had become a mute, frightened into silence by his presence. It was faintly amusement, but he wasn’t here to be amused. He was here to collect his wife. Tension rolled off her in waves, it was visible in the tightness of her shoulders, in the way she barely moved. It was the promise of punishment that had her moving, pushing against him in a feeble attempt to create some breathing room for herself. He refused to move, if anything, he leaned into the pressure. She’d had four years of space, he wasn’t going to give her any more.
I do not…belong to you…not anymore. For a moment, he didn’t react. He was stunned, surprised by her outburst. She had developed a backbone in her absence. His eyes narrowed ever so slightly. What was even more surprising was the sharp stab of lust that shot through his veins at her defiance. He grabbed her chin roughly, forcing her to look up at him. The low growl that formed in his throat was at odds with the dark grin that stretched across his mouth
The chatter of the city faded. He paid no mind to those who walked, blissfully unaware of what was taking place in the alleyway. The entirety of his focus was on her. His eyes retraced the planes of her face, relearning each structure. He basked in her warmth of body pressed against his. He continuously inhaled her perfume, drawing it in and letting it sear his lungs. template by bean |

Trigger warning: Mentions abuse
do not press this,
I am relentless. Her warning hung like a guillotine over them. He watched as her lips peeled back, revealing her teeth that she had never dared to use against him. She demanded that he step away from her. She again claimed that she did not belong to him. It grated against his patience, it had his anger simmering. His hackles would lift then, spiking along his nape and back, as if he needed to be appear any larger. Pale kissers peeled back, revealing his own fangs. His answering growl was louder, meaner.
Whether he realized it or not, he would step away from her. Shaking his head slowly, his gaze wandered further down the alley.
When he struck, it was with well practiced precision. There was rigid restraint in the way he grabbed her, his grasp only firm enough to keep ahold of her even though he drowned in need to grip her as tightly as he could. He pressed her into the ground beneath him, caging her in between his forelegs.
His emerald eyes were bright with his fury. His body swelled with it. It dragged up memories from the early years of their marriage. It wasn’t the first time he had her pinned beneath him. But it was the first time he didn’t wrap a vicious grip around her throat. It was the first time he didn’t immediately press bruises into her skin. At least for now… template by bean |
