A tortoise slowly lumbers up a muddy riverbank O This place was special...it always had been and always would be. She savored the feel of the muck between her toes, the scent of of wetlands, and sounds of frogs and crickets as fireflies appeared by moonlight. It did have her contemplating moving her original home on the outskirts of the mountains that cradled mirror lake to here, where the labyrinth of trees were as wild as the beat of her heart. Magic was alive and well here and so was she.
