T She had pranced through the snow, nearly up to her chest, and had almost made it to her destination when a particularly tempting heap of snow caught her attention. Vibrant grass green eyes darted back and forth to make sure that no one else was looking. Then, without another moment’s hesitation, the tri-color youth dove headfirst into the freezing pile, where she vanished for a second or two before her head popped out again, now coated in pure white, and she was unable to contain a fit of giggles from erupting from her maw. She announced to no one (or so she imagined): "I am queen of the snow!" @Gwyn

Willow wasn't due to start clases until spring and yet her nest was cold, the temperature difference particularly noticable with last night's snowfall. Where Luca and Anthe were at home and lazily opening their eyes for the morning, Kylar's little clone had seemingly disappeared. Except there was a tell-tale line of paw prints leading away from Haven and up to Melrose. Kylar grumbled to herself, brow furrowing somewhat. The students were finishing up their projects and preparing to graduate—or return for another grueling season. With the term settling up, Kylar would have to check in on the small gardens that her students had been cultviating. There wouldn't be much growing, but Kylar did want to assess that they had properly prepared for the next season as if they were going to rotate crops and properly shield the more tender herbs. Originally, she had intended to procrastinate on grading. Perhaps this was the excuse she needed to finish on time. ... At last. She saw the little tawny tail bobbing up and down and the circuitous paw prints of her daughter (the path having been more of a winding one due to all of the fascinating bits and bobbles she had no doubt found). Kylar began to hobble a little faster only to blink in shock as her daughter suddenly disappeared. What!? Moments later, to Kylar's relief, Willow popped back up again. Oh thank the stars. Slowing as she got closer, Kylar's brow lifted. @Willow @Gwyn |
