[ P ] When We Were Younger

It was a good thing he was so good natured, she thought, or she might be in trouble with him.

As she raced away she expected him to chase her but she did not expect him to hurt himself. She turned to face him again after skidding to a stop, realizing that he was not hot on her heels. Her ears flicked back and forth as she watched him limp around. He looked pretty hurt but she plastered a smirk on her face and pranced towards him. "Aww.. did the old man get hurt?" she taunted playfully.

She could probably help him if he took a look at it, but he would just need to stay off of it for a while so it could heal more than likely. She didn't see any bones poking out so it couldn't be that bad.

She moved closer to inspect the injury, all the while unsuspecting of his plan to pounce.

ust as he had expected, she was a kind-natured female. Even in their playful banter, teasing him for his seasoned appearance, and all the pressures of doing this or that. She was kind. He liked that. It was the perfect part to exploit for his own victory. There was a concerned look on her face, but when she was close enough to him, he unleashed his plan for victory. Quickly, he pushed off of his hind legs and sprang his form upon hers. His attempt would be to pin her to the ground, shoulders pinned, and only a slight amount of his weight might be needed to keep her there. He was not sure if he could pull it off properly. Being that she was younger, more lithe than he was - she had a bit of speed he could not compete with. Surprise was what he was banking on to be successful. Should he be victorious, he would raise his jaw in pride and sing of his own praises.

A yelp of surprise escaped her as he jumped up and pinned her down. She hit the ground with a thud and a whoosh of air left her lungs. Adrenaline coursed through her veins, pumping her heart faster and dilating her pupils. She was not afraid as she gazed up at him, but perplexed by how he'd captured her so easily. She'd been foolish to approach him, thinking him wounded when it was all a trick to catch her. "Damn, you're good." she laughed after a few beats of silence passed between them.

She wriggled beneath his paws, trying to free herself but to no avail. He was far larger than herself and stronger, too. "Okay, so you win the strength contest." she groaned before swiftly kicking out with her back feet at his hind legs and belly. She wasn't aiming to hurt him but she was trying to regain her footing in this little game of theirs.

e would never admit that he was shocked it had actually worked. He would always stand by the idea that he had planned it to go this way, and she was destined to fall for his perfectly presented trap. He had pinned her down, and with a smirk he nodded his head. She was a pretty little thing, and he had been enjoying the rejuvenating feeling of what it was to be young again. "I don't really think that was much of a contest... I mean... we both already knew you didn't stand a chance.." he chuckled as he let her up and gave her some space while he laughed and laughed. "You are pretty fast. Have you always been so fast, or did you practice a lot?" He wondered if that was something she just got through her genetics or did she have to work for that? She probably was not as interested in such a thing as he was, but it never hurt to make conversation. "Is there anything else you would like to do, miss Tae?"

She blew a raspberry at his taunting and raised her paws to his chest to try and push him. No luck, she just wasn't strong enough to heave such a large wolf off her. Thankfully, he let her up after that and commented on how fast she was. She preened at the compliment as she rolled onto her belly and jumped to her paws nimbly. "I've always been fast, what can I say?" she said, reaching out a paw to jab at his shoulder.

He then asked if there was anything else she'd like to do and she pursed her lips as she thought about that. She glanced at the falls then back down to Tiberius. "Know anymore good jumping spots around here?" she asked casually, as if jumping off cliffs was something she did every day. Well it kinda was... and she wouldn't have it any other way.
