Ryker Verlice
Before her brother's had a second to react, she would spring herself forward, her stone bodice ran parallel to the edge that would solve all of her worries, cease most of her ache in her heart that was growing colder by the day. Amethysts would fall to the damaged damsel, lips curled on a muzzle that snaked downward. She would lower herself to the ground, a paw extending over the edge, but not to Merrin. This paw instead struck the earth that she lay under and merrin clung to. Her other paw worked to hold her steady, until she felt more of the earth and rock she was striking with the other could be felt coming loose. Dirt and rocks would bust from their spot in the earth and fall downwards, striking Merrin as they fell to jagged rocks below. She repeated the process, frantically, trying to skew the hits they would make Merrin, I'm the hopes that she would loose any grasp she had already. And then, just as she began to strike another bit of rock I'm the earth, she heard a frantic Merrin, and then watched as she scrambled to keep her hold. Ryker's own face remained unmoved as she watched, purple hues followed each foothold the woman tried make. Her efforts only tore the earth she was grasping on to, and her already feeble body only seemed crumble, just the earth that was struck above her. The iron clad woman held her breath, watching as Merrin made one last attempt to steady herself, but she would fall to the grasp of gravity instead, and all too quickly--- Asher's voice struck her, burying deep into her own thoughts and pulling her back to where they were now. "What she doesn't need is an audience that wish only to watch a disaster," she would scoff, her voice erupted into a more hysterical laugh. "This is hardly a disaster- this--" she watched as her brother dove for the woman. Ryker's front paw would stomp into the earth beneath her, a snarl broke her hysterical state. This is a miracle, a blessing! The CURE to this disease that's plagued this family since the beginning she would exclaim as she watched not one, but both brothers aiding in her climb back up. Her heart would beat rather fast, just watching. She still refused to go near the trio. She would saunter close to the edge, looking over. That was her best bet- down there. A fugitive of the Army?! That's her new life- that her and her new family can deal with. Perhaps this was their way out, away from her. They could let her run away, as far as that disgustingly frail body would let her go, atleast. Ryker wanted nothing more to do with Merrin, or the ties she held to each of them. Even with Kenzo still present, she still turned her back, returning from the direction she came. exit ryker speech "thoughts" table by rae - image by Wisper |
