Rejection did not settle with the woman, this would become pretty apparent after his attempt to leave her. He had to admit, to himself of course, that her flat response to his accusations left him somewhat amused. She did not lack straightforwardness, nor did she care what emotions she tugged from him, but what about the emotion he got from her? She was able to cut him off from leaving, her dark paw becoming a barrier between the two of them. His golden eyes found her face and his brows furrowed in confusion. She did not attack him or bare her fangs, but instead she spoke with a hidden innocence.

While he did not believe her to be innocent at all he could admit her question caused him to slightly become interested.

'I wasn't asking you to come over for tea.' Ah, so that's what it was about. He inhaled a deep breath and allowed the air to escape his nostrils. At one point he would have questioned her dignity and his own for even considering her offer. At one point he would have cared what others thought of him, or even what he would think of himself.

With all that had happened, however, he couldn't find himself to care much at all about any of those things. Kylar was happy with a woman. She found a new life, a new way to live with a new person to live that said life with. Thane disappeared into thin air after giving him a beautiful child and even with that in mind Kyros was often scarce since he had come of age. He no longer had a pack, a home, or anything to give his efforts to, for now at least, so why did he care?

"If you are to soothe me I will not hide it within the walls of a den," he stepped closer, hoping to move her paw from his chest until he hovered over her even if only slight.

"Let the fae watch, or experience it through you, hm?" Because in his mind she was the very thing she had been trying to act as though she was saving him from. Something in him stirred, something that felt dark, unusual, but at the same time it felt so....

Good.

she could have sworn he looked confused at first and she almost had to wonder just how innocent he was. but then she saw it, the moment he realized what she was asking of him (or more like demanding).

as he drew so close that he towered above her, she lowered her paw and craned her neck so that her nose was brushing under his jaw and against his cheek. she felt weak and vulnerable in that moment, like he could snap her neck on a whim and what was it about that that made her skin crawl so deliciously? she, too, could cause similar devastation from her position, but those thoughts had long since drifted from her mind. she wanted, no she needed something else right now. she had been only with zoltan for so long since she became ill she hadn't realized how much she'd been craving the touch of another. to her everyone was fair game, except her son.

the smell of pine and nightshade mingled in the air between them and her lips curved into a sly smile as she nipped at him.

"if you are to soothe me i will not hide it within the walls of a den," oh?

"let the fae watch, or experience it through you, hm?"

oh, anteros... she crooned in his ear. it was the only thing they had given each other thus far, a name, spoken so sweetly on her tongue beckoned him to her. you better give them a bloody good show, she said, her voice dropping daringly as she nipped him more roughly than before.

tones of her gaelic accent seeped from her lips as she no longer cared to hide it. she lowered her muzzle, turning away from him slightly so that her side leaned against his broad chest. he was a good deal larger than her so she was sure he had no problem holding her up, tired or not. she turned her head, peering at him through her periphery. don't be shy now... she growled.

Memories of Thane flashed before him, for a moment the woman before him disappeared and all he could see was the red coat of the mother of his child. She had once told him to be selfish, and thus Kyros was born. Was he to still be selfish now though? Being selfish did bring a sense of fullness that he could not explain. Being able to take control was empowering. Being a man who was mostly quiet and always worked towards helping others rarely felt the sense of selfishness. Perhaps he was losing his sense of self as he had lost everything else. Was that really all that bad though?

The nip at his skin brought him back to attention and he growled back at the woman in response. He was not expecting her subtle violence, but again he wasn't expecting much of anything at this point. His name rolled off her tongue and again another nip, but he would not take the second one lightly. She turned her back to him and he felt the warmth in his belly. He was not nervous, no, he was...

Angry.

It was for reasons deeper then he understood. He continued to lose and lose and lose, the only thing he had yet to let slip from his paws was Kyros. And oh he hoped he would never lose him too. He lost love, he lost a shot at potential happiness, he lost his home, twice, and the life he had come to love. The world was cruel and it became apparent quickly that he was not meant to be happy. Her words melted, his world faded into black and all he could feel was the scrunching of her flesh between his ivory fangs. Unaware of his strength he would pull her into him, the front of his chest would follow suit along her back, and he would become careless about the weight he would place upon her. Each push and pull was more aggressive then the last, his jaws clenched, his eyes did not need to close off the world before them. All he could feel was his body as well as hers, and the motion of their dance that would end with the taste of crimson upon his tongue and his chest tighten.

---------------------

He panted, heavily, his body ached and he felt nauseous. He blinked a couple of times as he tried to rid of the dizzy feeling, his golden orbs looking upon the woman as he began to fade in and out of consciousness. "What-," a sharp pain ran through his temple, he shook it off. "What did you do!" He snarled as he took a step closer to her, snapping his jaws in her direction.

And then he would collapse, his world once again going black.

elwynn hadn't known where this chance meeting would go; she'd played her part but he could have just as easily walked away. she had almost expected it of him and if he had tried again, she honestly didn't know if she wouldn't have attacked him on the spot. she would have had her fun with with him willing or not. but this... she had not expected this and she was not disappointed.

she could feel his anger as their bodies melded together; the fury on his breath was tantalizing and intriguing. but she couldn't focus on it too much as ecstasy filled in her in their moment of passion.

blood welled from the wounds he'd dug into her nape, but she didn't care. the smell of pines and nightshade faded as the area filled with the sharp smell of iron. their dance was ending and it was then that she noticed something was off. he slid off her, gasping for air and she turned, a brow raised as she watched. he lunged for her, jaws clattering, but he did not reach her before he slumped to the ground. she shook her small body, her fur stuck haphazardly in every spot he'd touched her. it matted against her neck, slick with blood that seeped from where he'd bitten her. she hummed softly as she took a step towards him, hovering over him as his eyelids fluttered. she wondered if he could see her there, standing above him.

oh, sweet anteros. it seems i've made a mistake... she murmured, her voice no doubt echoing in his ears. a lofty laugh escaped her and she bent to kiss his forehead as his eyes finally shut.

there was a reason she'd smelled so sweet and he'd just found out why.

she ran her nose along his cheek and down to his neck where she felt his pulse, still throbbing from their earlier activities. it would likely slow as he lay there, for the next few hours. but she doubted he would die. the residue from the nightshade on her pelt was no fatal amount, but seemingly enough to render him unconscious. she hadn't intended this, but it was a pleasant surprise. something she could no doubt use in the future. she pressed her tongue to his neck, lips curling as she brushed her fangs along his throat. he was so vulnerable but...

she kissed him gently and sighed, supposing that she owed him one for that performance.

with that, she stepped over him and headed back towards the woods. she would linger in the darkness to make sure nothing messed with him until he came to and wandered off.
