t home, Willow never lacked for company. There were the other students at the College, her peers and mentors. She also had the benefit of two mothers, as well as a sister she saw regularly. That was home, where the young femme was content and at peace.

However, now that she was an adult, Willow was beginning to spend more time traveling, venturing to new parts of the lands in her quest for knowledge and experience. There was much to learn about sweet baby pups and their lovely mums, and the aspiring healer was determined to be fully prepared to serve when the birthing season came again next year. As such, she was on the move more often than not now, and the walking could be tedious, as well as lonely.

She had not seen a friendly face all day when Willow decided to take a break, setting her satchel of herbs beside her where she sat. Her ears pricked forward – had she heard something approaching?

illow had not budged from the place she sat, even when a black and white animal wandered out of the brush, straight toward her. As a little pup, Willow had once been sprayed by a skunk, and it was a terrible experience that she did not wish to relive! But now she realized she had probably done something to frighten it when she was still just a kid. It had only been doing what it felt was necessary to survive a rambunctious, unwelcome wolf pup.

This skunk merely looked at Willow with its tiny, dark eyes, and the young wolfess made eye contact with the smaller creature in wonder. The skunk regarded the wolf with curiosity, sniffing the air as it looked between Willow and her satchel of herbs. ”Hi there. You are very cute, little friend. Do you want to come closer? I won’t hurt you, a healer’s promise!”

If your animal is a farm animal or wild: Success! The animal is intrigued by you
Risky: Yikes! The animal wants to fight. Post in #updates for the raid or flee (although fleeing means you must re-encounter the animal).
