Merrin managed a small smile up at him with his reassurance. At times she felt as though she were walking a tightrope between what she assumed were Luciel's boundaries only to find that the thin line was hardly that far off from the ground even if there was an illusion that she would fall from that great height.

She nodded in agreement, giggling softly at the way he dramatically parted from her, the feeling mutual. Making sure she delicately picked up the crystal, she stood and readied to leave. Merrin still clung to Luciel's side as her body instinctively began to shiver in the damp cold, ever thankful for his overly fluffy tail and even more so for the presence of her beloved Captain.
