Purple eyes flickered, darting to each wolf in search of an opponent but most here were simply cadets. Being that she had shoved her brother at the fish competition and broke his damn bone, she was hesitant to spar with any of the newer trainees in fear of history repeating itself. With a swallow, she drew back towards the walls, leaning a shoulder against the cool stone as she awaited someone of higher rank to arrive. The soldier was desperate to blow off some steam, so she would settle for a cadet if she had to... give them a taste of Rykers medicine, but this time she would be the witch doctor and them the recipient. It was an interesting thought, but she waited regardless - there were more around her age in the graduated group, surely one of them would show up sooner rather than later, especially considering today was a designated spar day. Until then, she sat with her emotions. The anger, the pain, the resentment that had slowly built up over the last few months. Seeing her mother didn't help at all, instead having the exact opposite effect as Lenora was accused of setting up her arrest. The memories were bitter. Declan was a nice distraction, but he was still a criminal and someone she shouldn't be mingling with... but she just couldn't help herself right now. Her life was in such distress that she grasped at anything to keep herself from falling down the rabbit hole of her own family's destruction. Her expression was vague; blank of emotion and lifeless as she stared out at the training cadets. |
