purposefully, he resided far from the noisy barracks and their aggressive, musty inhabitants. just because his profession was one that deemed itself unsavory at times didn't mean he had to be accustomed to that way of life. his rank spoke volumes; his political stand showed where his values laid. and his ever present mindset for power thrived in his all his ideas. he was his work. and his work was evolving.
only recently had he sought a richer taste of lust to pursue. lavish and riches were his since birth; but now, he stared at an empty seaside alone. at the most beautiful sceneries rionnach possessed, the male called this peaceful place home. the sunset a remarkable landscape everyone ought to see.
here, in the midst of a dreamy dawn, sat the muscular figure of erebus. an elegant creature all on his own-, locks flowing with the breezes that came to gently touch him. what more did he want?

She had risen well before dawns, the tide calling her as it always had. In Aberdeen, the beckoning of the Ocean Goddess was far more serene and peaceful. It was more of a welcome into a warm embrace rather than the typical, unrelenting pull of an invisible string that she was forever bound to. It was here that she could roam the beaches, breathing in the salty air from the breeze that played in the long tresses of ivory fur about her neck.

Early morning's like these did not see many folk if only perhaps some of the elderly who retired in the seaside town. They were almost always about well before the crack of dawn, but there were few and far between that she would see taking a stroll where the waves lapped upon the sand, kissing the earth with each gentle movement. Freyja enjoyed the sound, enjoyed the way the waters flowed in a mesmerizing fashion as her paw pads sunk into the dampened sands of the shoreline.

There was another she spotted who seemed to have found solace in the expanse of waves and she studied the figure as she approached where he was seated. Freyja had only intended to pass on by him until she caught a hint of the Mainlands medlied in his scent that could only belong to one who mingled with the Imperial Army. She took her time in walking by him and gave a slow nod if he were to acknowledge her. Either way she'd call back over her shoulder as she continued on by, "I wouldn't make yourself too comfortable, Soldier...the locals aren't very fond of military dog these days..."

the major was interrupted by a scent that only intensified along with a voice he hadn't heard before. he's in a pleasant mood so he agrees to be patient-, expecting the other to continue on it's own way. but it does not. it cannot. the passive warning was taken as threat. a notion of fear the strange woman expected the bloke to coward at.
his large form raises then as he gathers to his enormous merle paws. his rigid and angular face coming to show as he turned his body to the right where she was. his eyes were harsh with study; taking all her elements in with distaste. a blonde agouti bitch with a binary gaze that he would not forget. "Watch your tongue woman. I am a major for the imperial army." his voice was stern, cold and authoritative.
she was built as tall as he; although he disapproved of it. finding her grace stolen and molded to an inconspicuous lass with the disease of townsfolk superstition. and for a fleeting moment, he thought she may of been a highlander. "Move along girl." he spat, dismissing her. nares flaring her perfume away as he stood parallel to her. his gaze firm & unwavering.

A single ear flicked sound of movement behind her as he lifted himself from the sands. Freyja slowed her gait further, a smirk pulling at the corners of her mouth and she hardly tried to hide it as she turned around to face him expectantly. Orbs of blood and ice surveyed him as he made it known his title and confirmed her suspicion as though he didn't reek of it.

“A Major of the Imperial Army, eh? My, my, your parents must be proud." Amusement danced in her eyes as she teased him a bit. Wasn't it just like a man to throw around their ranks as though it suddenly changed anything about them. “Titles mean nothing in the land of the free folk, I'm afraid. Means less to me anyhow." She gave a nonchalant shrug of muscular shoulders and then breathed a sigh through her nose.

He commanded her to move along and she lowered her haunches back to the earth merely to emphasize that he could not order her around. She cast her gaze back out to the ocean and breathed in tide's breeze. "I'm finding myself quite comfortable right here all of the sudden." Freyja set her sights on him again and tilted her nose in his direction from where he'd been resting before. “And no need for you to rise on my account, I was simply making an observation and offering a bit of unsolicited advice. Ya looked like you could use it."

ooc: posting on low battery ;_;

Erebus was too prideful, too intolerant to allow something like this to slide. But she bolts first into action, staying true to her masculinity that seem to poise within her. She shoots forward, meeting Erebus's nape. He aims to teethe at her own breast but her movements are too great and forceful. Barley, he scratches her. Tasting only an inkling of her blood. Still, he wanted more.

She releases him to then goes for his thigh. In turn, he seizes the opportunity to knock her down yet fails. Frustrated, he then yelps when she sinks into his right thigh. He then strikes at her belly, his teeth meeting her flesh once more with a less than solid bite. Once she releases him, he moves away. Bleeding, he forfeits and limps away without a word. Leaving her no time to hear her last words. Nor sharing his. All he knew was her binary eyes, and the wraith he owed them.

Post Sparring Match

Freyja stepped back away from her quarry once she'd seen that she'd done enough damage to leave him dizzied. Panting she watched him intensely beneath furrowed brows for a time. They were all the same. Males. Completely predictable. Always feeling the need to dominate continuously to give themselves any sort of self-worth...but, at what cost? A memory flashed behind her eyes. A wild storm upon a ship's upper deck, a body strewn out across it in a puddle of their own entrails as she stood above what was once the Captain before her.

She'd spent her days beneath his boot, learning all that she could, and once he became an exhausted resource...she snuffed him out like a candle. There was no need for her to fight every day of her life to simply be looked up on as something other than an object, at least upon the Valkyrie. She claimed the helm and everything they came along with it...and once she'd stripped her crew of the cockroaches that had ever once disrespected her, she heard objections from the lot of them nevermore.

Snapping back to reality she noticed that the man had already slinked away. She swirled the remnants of his blood in her mouth and spat it on the ground to the side. Imperial Soldiers were no different from Pirates, who were no different from Thieves, who were no different from Nobles. It didn't matter where they found themselves...males would always seek to demean her. And in the end they would learn that she was not a one to be fucked with. Freyja gathered herself and continuing her walk along the shoreline as the sun rose steadily in the sky, marking the new day.

[Exit Freyja]
