It was the early in the morning she awoke with faint nausea and discomfort; still a smile would grace her lips at the thought that it had worked. Aurelia's once slender figure was ever so slightly bulging now and she'd had early symptoms for weeks. She had never been pregnant before but the changes in her body led her to believe that she was. Elation filled her as she moved about the small cottage in effort to tidy the place up before Danya arrived. He often checked on her here in the mornings before running off to work. She didn't know if he had notice the change in her scent or her figure yet but she would be glad to tell him to news either way. Once she thought she was finished, she moved to the door where she saw the morning light peeking in. It flickered and she blinked a couple times before lifting her muzzle to sniff the air. She could smell him, even hear him approaching as she twitched her ears atop her head. "I'm up!" she chimed cheerily, hoping that he wasn't too far away yet to hear her. Aurelia slowly sat down and wrapped her tail around her small paws, the smile never leaving her face. She saw more flickering of light, a shadow passing by and then smelled his strong scent nearby. She knew he was here now; but before she moved closer she couldn't stop herself from speaking up again. "I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant!" she beamed. It was clear she was very happy about this and why wouldn't she be? They'd been trying, after all. A few moments passed and Aurelia moved towards his scent, his large presence causing a warming feeling in her gut... or was that the nausea? Her smile faltered as she felt a little queasy. "They're really complaining this morning," she said faintly. She swallowed, hoping she wasn't about to get sick. "What do you think? I've cleaned up our new home some and I think it'll be perfect for us." she said. Not that she could see well enough to truly get a good cleaning job in alone. There were still some cobwebs and always the dust but... it was a start! "I might have to have one of the girls help me later," she said a little bashfully. She hated asking them to help her with such menial tasks but most were kind and willing enough and they were only minutes from the Howling Moon that she was able to get back and forth with relative ease... template by bean
