The Silent Siren
There was a meticulously romantic charm when it came to creating a picture from a flowerbed. A bath of aromas and unmatched calamity that had the power to enchant anyone who stepped within it. Melrose had always been a bustle of life because of it -- though the lands of it's paradise never seemed to spoil because of that.

Peizhi usually preferred to wander Eden's garden when the population was sparse. It had been nearly a year since she'd ran away from the maws of her violent husband -- who no doubt would be looking for her one way or another, so a low profile was what the she-wolf felt most comfortable with until time went by. Until then, the siren had found peace in her life as a herbalist, with what little interactions she'd spent with others through trade. Medicinal plants were, for the most part, easy to recognize in her own memories -- though there was a few that weren't native to home that needed studying.

"罗斯玛丽....薰衣草..." Pei mumbled soflty to herself. A dark, twitching nose foraged through the tall stems of flowers and grass in search of the two herbs; lavender and rosemary. In her own observations, the two plants were highly sought out by the wolves of this continent -- if only she could learn to say them in the common tongue and create the right marketing...

Unaware of the presence of others nearby and her muzzle buried within the ground of floral scents, stilt legs continued to carry Pei's tiny frame through the meadow.

Caution: Gwydion has diphtheria!

Gwydion Kinnaird
It had been a while since he’d made the trek to Melrose but today seemed as good a day as any. He made his way through the garden without much going through his mind at the time until he spotted a lovely woman nose-deep in the dirt. What she was doing, he could not be certain. Curiosity got the better of him and he slowly approached, his gaze wandering to the herbs at the end of her snout. ”What are you doing?” he asked her as he leaned in slightly to see what she was up to.

His nose began to itch and he grumbled softly to himself as he backed up to sneeze; whatever this illness was was sure clinging to him like a bad cold. Hell, maybe it was just a cold but the symptoms he’d experienced seemed far worse and varied than any cold he’d ever had. ”Excuse me,” he said, a little embarrassed. He cleared his throat and resumed staring at her— which was probably going to seem more rude than the sneezing but he didn’t quite get that yet.
