Toulon Palace

The pathway to Toulon Palace is marked by what many call the largest trees in Ildhrune, forming a veritable wall of greenery that provides a natural barrier between the palace and the city. Though the palace serves as the seat of the Polaris, it is vast enough that much of it is open to the public, who frequent the hallowed halls to view the rich history of Ildhrune. The palace boasts outdoor gardens with stone or fallen log seating areas, and its spacious hallways and inner rooms are lined with artifacts for viewing and educational purposes. These artifacts are sometimes holy, and sometimes simply cultural, collected by all previous Polarises. Further inside the palace, the Praetorian Guard has a secondary base of operations and provides security for the Polaris’s living quarters and war rooms.
